Start with the cup and lid system

Capacity is only one identifier. Rim diameter determines which lid family fits, and Fat Penguin publishes the rim on each cup route. A 12 oz 92mm cup and a 12 oz 98mm cup are not interchangeable just because the fluid capacity matches.

Cup orders remain quote-first because case quantity, spot-color count, plate setup, destination, and pallet freight affect the real total. The public catalog intentionally does not present a single checkout price that could misrepresent those variables.

Fat Penguin currently accepts bulk cup orders only: no individual custom cups or sub-case orders. Printed minimums are 30 cases for 1-2 colors and 50 cases for 3-6 colors, and next-week production is not available. A new printer is scheduled for October 2026 and is expected to lower the minimum to one case, including 1,000 cups for 12 oz; that option is not available yet.

What to send for a useful quote

Choose the exact cup SKU, estimate case volume, identify the delivery postal code, and upload the best available artwork. The designer can help identify the print area and color count, but a human review confirms whether separations, fine type, reverses, or a custom mold request affect production.
