File Formats for Custom Cup Printing
Which file to upload or export for a custom printed PET cup: the image types the designer accepts, the SVG and 600 DPI PNG exports, and color separations.

Upload PNG, JPEG, or WebP, then export from the designer
Upload your artwork as a PNG, JPEG, or WebP file, then export the production file from the cup designer for the size you are ordering. The export menu offers three files: a vector SVG, a high-resolution PNG of the printable area at 600 DPI, and a color-separations ZIP.
The separations ZIP holds one PNG for each spot color in the design, plus a full preview. PET cup printing is planned by spot color, so a known color count helps the quote.
Match the file to the cup print area
The export is sized to the cup you chose, so export from that cup page rather than reusing a file made for another size. Print areas differ: a 12 oz cup on a 92 mm rim is about 91 mm high by 180 mm wide, and a 12 oz cup on a 98 mm rim is about 88 mm by 192 mm. The area for each size is printed on its page.
Vector, raster, or a file from another program
Use the SVG for a flat logo or line work, since it scales without losing sharpness. Use the PNG for photographs, gradients, and textures. Do not enlarge a small image to fill the print area, because enlarging adds no new detail.
If your artwork lives in another program, such as a layered design file, use the contact form before you order. The team reviews source artwork and production files on request.
