The 16 oz print area

A 16 oz PET cup on the 98 mm rim has a printable area of about 106 mm high by 209 mm wide, roughly 4.2 by 8.2 inches. Build the logo to fit inside that rectangle, and open the artwork file at that size rather than at a larger canvas.

The area is approximate, so leave a margin inside it rather than running the logo to the edge. The exact area for each cup is on its page.

Place the logo and check the type

Center the logo in the area, then check that small text and thin lines stay readable at the cup size. Those are the hardest details to read on a curved cup, so make them large enough to check at actual size.

Count your colors before you ask for a quote. Each print color adds a plate charge, and the quote is built on the color count you send.

Confirm with a proof

Many first-time custom orders need proof approval before production starts. The proof shows the design on the cup at its print area, so check the placement and the rim you chose there.
